1. Data controller
Paris Velvet Trip is operated by Viktor GOLTSOV, entrepreneur individuel, trading name AGENCE ARAMIS, at 8 Rue Auguste Renoir, 78400 Chatou, France. Contact: contact@parisvelvettrip.com.
2. Information we use
Depending on your request, we may use your name, email address, telephone number, journey and passenger details, luggage and accessibility information, communications, booking history, payment status and transaction reference. For chauffeurs, we also use the professional profile documents needed to verify identity, vehicle documentation and the professional VTC card. Paris Velvet Trip does not store full payment-card details.
3. Why we use it
- To answer enquiries and prepare a quote.
- To create, confirm, manage and complete a booking.
- To assign a vehicle or chauffeur and communicate journey changes.
- To process and reconcile payments and refunds through myPOS.
- To prevent misuse, protect the service and comply with legal obligations.
- To maintain aggregate, cookie-free page-view and performance statistics without visitor identifiers.
4. Legal bases
Processing is based, as applicable, on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of the transport contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in securing, operating and improving the service. Where consent is legally required, processing begins only after that consent and can be withdrawn.
5. Who receives information
Information is limited to authorised Paris Velvet Trip personnel, an assigned chauffeur where necessary, hosting and booking infrastructure, myPOS for payments, and professional advisers or authorities when legally required. Chauffeur verification documents are kept in private storage and are available only to the chauffeur concerned and authorised Paris Velvet Trip administrators. Providers may act only for the relevant service and under applicable data-protection safeguards.
6. Retention and security
Quote and booking information is kept only for the period needed to provide the service, handle disputes and meet accounting, tax, transport and other legal obligations. Security and technical logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to investigating incidents. Aggregate statistics contain no visitor identifier. Access is restricted and protected by technical and organisational measures.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Send requests to contact@parisvelvettrip.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL.
8. Cookies and external payment
See our Cookie Notice. When you choose card payment, you leave our site for the secure myPOS checkout; myPOS applies its own privacy and cookie information on that service.
